Nice design. A bit raised around the edge, Colors subdued, but attractive.Read More
At first I lived this in my family room with the multicolors that seem to coordinate the whole of the room. But sadly this rug and even after a lost two years continue to shed wool that cause my vacuum cleaner to crash and not only wool, it also has some white coating on the back that just keeps coming off in the form of a white powder that made a big mess. I would not recommend this in any ones home, I now have it in the garage to avoid all the white mess from that powder coated back. Do not buy this item as you will have to work very hard just to clean after it!Read More
I love the design of this rug so much that after scrolling through ALL the others Overstock carries, I bought the same rug I bought five years ago. This time a larger one. So this review is less about the new rug and more about its predecessor, five years after moderate use. There are several issues with this rug. First, it sheds like nobody's business. I swept up fluff balls for six months with the first one. Second, the backing on the rug starts to degrade within the first year, creating a super fine sandlike substance that requires rolling back the rug to sweep it up. Third, the white threads of the weft show through around the edges. In one place, it was after a year and in other places after three and four years. If the perimeter of the rug were a light color, this wouldn't be a problem. But the edge is cranberry, so these white threads are obvious. I got out a pen and colored mine so they wouldn't show but they still sorta did. Fourth, the backing at the corners of the rug start to pull away from the rug at or around year three. This rug is sort of like the handsome boyfriend you can't get enough of but who doesn't work enough and who comes home drunk sometimes. You go on loving the guy but have to accept the fact that he's not perfect.Read More
I purchased this rug and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I had a cat mark it repeatedly. Even though I used products to clean the spot, she continued to be attracted to that one particular spot. I ended up having her spayed and didn't want to chance there was the slightest scent that would draw her back to her bad behavior, so I gave the rug to a friend (who loves it) and bought the exact same rug to replace the original. That's how much I think of this particular rug!!!Read More
I had been looking at this rug for awhile and finally decided to buy it. The quality of the rug seems superb, although I've only had it a day so time will tell. It's thick and very comfortable to walk on. I'm very happy with the quality for the price. My only disappointment has to do with the colors. The other reviews I had read that pointed out color discrepancies stated the rug colors were muted. I was okay with that because I just took it to mean they weren't as dark as they seemed. But now seeing it in person I realize the word muted isn't quite the right description. The colors are actually quite vibrant. But they are all in the cool color range rather than the warm color range. The picture depicts the colors on the warm end, so I was expecting for example a yellow toned olive green. The green color, however, is a gray/blue toned olive green. Ditto the golds, corals, etc. All tend to be in the cool range. The effect overall then is quite different from the website picture. The rug is still very nice and I won't send it back, but I was admittedly disappointed since I thought I had made a great purchase that would fit exactly what I was after. Alas, the trials of shopping online, sight unseen.Read More
This rug is very nice. It is intricate with multiple colors to choose from for decorating. The rugs in this series are Safavieh and on Overstock are a great price--at least half the price they are selling for on multiple web sites that I checked. The wool is good and soft. However, the color is no where's near the way it is depicted. It is NOT brown, gold and subtle earth tones as depicted. The main border is BURGUNDY and the recurring theme in the rug is burgundy NOT the brown that it appears in photo. The rest of the colors are sage, three tones of gold from very light to deep, wedgewood blue, peach, mocha, midnight navy and a background that is beige-y, but hard to described because it is muted/grayed.Read More
Rug looks nice and is very much like the online picture, but it sheds an incredibly amount. I've filled up at least 12 vacuum bags so far, and it shedding just as much today as it did two months ago when I got it.Read More
I don't understand a positive review for this product. The rug has fiber coming out all over and requires a vacuum job every three days. A pure piece of trash. 100% negative for this product!Read More

Questions & Answers
Hello curious60, thank you for your inquiry! Yes, there is very small accents of black in this rug. I hope this helps. Happy shopping!
Thank you for trying. The rug arrived today and I think I'll live with it for a little bit, then look. It looks beautiful! It is certainly more colorful than what I expected, but in a good way. I agree that perhaps a solid color may work, I just want something with a similar pile.

In response to the recommendation of Item #12349078, I don't think the styles really go together. I want the rugs to be near each other, in the doorway.
Hello somewhathopeful, we appreciate your inquiry. Unfortunately, the size requirement is somewhat limiting. I thought perhaps an accent color would be best since there are so many colors in that rug, and there are no matching rugs in that size. Perhaps item#15848062 would work better. You could also try inputting 2X3 rugs and 3X4 rugs into the search bar (together or separately), and it will pull up all the rugs we have in those size options. We hope this information has been helpful. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have further questions, we are more than happy to assist you. Thank you for shopping with us. Have a great day!
I ordered this rug and the 2'3 x 8'. Do you have a suggestion for a 2x3 or 3x4 that would go well with it?
Hello somewhathopeful, we appreciate your inquiry. This particular rug has many colors, so a rug in a solid accent color may go well with it. There aren't many in the those particular sizes, however, item #12349078 may interest you. We hope this information has been helpful. Thank you for shopping with us. Have a great day!
