I ordered both the Antique Kasadan runner and a large area rug. I just unrolled the runner and I am slightly disappointed. The quality is not as good as I'd hoped, and the colors are way off - dark, dull and muted. If I had seen them in person first, I would not have purchased for this price. RE QUALITY: I had hoped the rugs would be more plush, with a smaller ply of yarn, and more tightly woven, but they look a little cheap/coarse. Not as bad as a junky area rug from Home Depot or Target, but not refined and luxurious either. The pics make the rugs look more luxe than they are. RE COLOR: While the color works for my space, it's just not what I envisioned or at all what was depicted. It's a flat, split-pea soup green, with a few subtle olive, beige and rust accents. Very dull and one-dimensional. Since I can't afford anything more expensive, and don't want the hassle of returning, I will keep them. My home is small and rustic with antique hard-wood floors, so these colors and coarser quality will work OK. However, if you are looking for something high-quality and polished for a more upscale space, I would say keep looking, because I think you would be very disappointed with these rugs.
I purchased two of these runners and two matching area rugs. They are a great value for the money especially since I saw similar ones at a local department store on sale for quite a bit more than these! I had never ordered so many rugs online but I'm glad I took the leap of faith. Rugs arrived quickly and were well packaged. Colors of all rugs match closely and all have shades of green and rust. I was so glad when I received these and they did not have any heavy orange tones. They are neither dull or gaudy, just perfect. The rugs are thick and soft, and even more so with the padding I also purchased from Overstock. They have not shed very much and have transformed the appearance of my living room and dining rooms and have received several complements. Thank you Overstock for another great buying experience!
