    Bought 6 of these chairs and I love them. They are comfortable and elegant - the slipcovers were a bit of a struggle to get on - but I don't like a loose slipcover - it looks cheap to me - so the fact that the slipcovers fit snugly is a bonus for me - the chairs look upholstered.

    I am impressed by the presence and dramatic flair of the Safavieh Bacall Hemp side chair. It has an upholstered chair underneath the slipcover and is fully padded for comfort. The slipcover fits snug so it doesn't look sloppy like some slipcovers and there is Velcro underneath to keep in place. I had numerous problems getting one of the chairs replaced, but Overstock came through. These are wonderful Captain's chairs at each end of our dining table. The color looks like cooked oatmeal and the texture is like linen. It doesn't have any pink or gold undertones like some beige colors can. Looks like chairs I have seen for hundreds more.
