A contemporary descendant of the Savonarola chair originally named for a 15th-century Dominican cleric, the Dante bench bears the distinctive curved X that forms its graceful legs. Upholstered in yellow polyester with self-welting nickel nailhead detailing, use Dante in pairs under a console, in front of the bed or for extra seating anywhere you want a touch of glamour.

What a great footstool!
I received my footstool today and could not be more pleased with it. I am a mosaic artist and look closely at details and colors. The color is a bright, not gaudy, sunshine true yellow. The foam padding is firm and comfortable. I am considering ordering another to sit next to this one for my new bright family room. A great purchase!
