I had been looking for an oversized rug for sometime, wanted a shag rug. This 15 x 11 really fit the room great, the color is just what I expected/wanted, the shag is thick and for under $*** was a bargain. I'm really pleased with the rug and when I put some in other areas I'll likely make sure it's a Safavieh rug.Read More
Love this rug. Was looking for a large cosy plush rush for my family room. My wall to wall rug was getting dingy so just put this right on top. My kids and dogs love laying on it. It's a nice color of various yarn. Lots of compliments.Read More
Color is great. Slight rise on one side due to shipping/packaging I would imagine. Will probably go down over time. Not too concerned as we love the new rug! We ordered 11X15 and its almost dead on those measurements.Read More
I bought the mushroom shag for the entry of my ski house. The first clue was how well my dog liked it. He loves it. It looks good and is thick enough that you cannot see the base like some thin shags. Therefore I waited 6 months and bought the 9'6" by 13 feet for the living room. It looks great there also and ties the rooms together. Now the cat has decided that the rug is great and he sleeps on the rug also, but does not scratch it like he does other flatter rugs. So these rugs are a big hit with me in looks, wear and they feel nice between the toes! I have pale gold walls and the colors work perfectly. I would get another if I had a place to put one. Oh yes, the price was fantastic, particularly since I have a large hand made turkish rug in the DR, and they all looks good.Read More

How to Pick a Mat to Use Under an Office Chair
Carpeted floors usually provide too much resistance for office chairs with rollers to work well. In addition, rolling a chair over carpet will wear down the carpet fibers over time. Mats designed for these areas are a practical solution to both issues. Mats can also protect harder, uncarpeted floors -- such as vinyl or wood, from wear caused by chair rollers. There are several styles and colors of these mats. When choosing a mat to use under your rolling office chair, it's not always best to choose the first one you see -- some are more suitable for low-pile carpets or wood floors, and some are perfect for use on heavy, thick carpeting.

Instead of using different textures for a subtle interior design statement, try using multiple area rugs to infuse your child's bedroom with color and pattern.
