I have had this rug on the deck for three summers - through sun and rain - and have stored it carefully winters. It is ready for the dumpster now. I would have expected it not to fade and unravel to this extent, based on light wear and good care.
These rugs are pretty cheap, but sometimes you just get what you pay for. In person, the design becomes a little hard to see as the weave is so coarse--i.e. the stitches are so big that the picture is somewhat obscured. But I am using them for kitchen mats, so they are serving their purpose. I will look for something a little nicer in a couple of years when these get gross.
These indoor/outdoor rugs are so attractive and very practical. My only problem has been they tend to mold because we get a lot of rain here. However I have used them on our deck and front porch and a solution of bleach and detergent cleans the mold right off without hurting the rug.
