Disappointed
I found the EXACT stools in a local store for $40.00 less! and they were assembled....these were not assembled and when I did assemble, one leg is a hair shorter then all the other 3 legs and therefore wobbles a bit. Had it not been too difficult to return, I would have returned the item and shopped locally.

Excellent Quality and easy to assemble
I was a bit concerned ordering these stools without seeing them in person, but I am completely satisfied. They are just perfect. They are really solid and will hold a lot of weight. The fit and finish is excellent. There is even some detailed notches carved in the seat for a kind of rustic or distressed look. This is another excellent product we have bought from Overstock.

Great looking stools
The stools are great- my kids love sitting on them at the kitchen counter. They are a little high for a tall adult, but a shorter one can comfortably eat at the counter too. The frame is very solid and seems sturdy- I especially love the antiqued finish. I would highly recommend them!

I usually do not purchase furniture online since I like to see the quality that I am buying....but these bar stools are superior quality plus very easy to assemble. I highly recommend that if you are looking for bar stools, you give these a second look.

Good quality, sturdy
No complaints with these stools - they are pretty easy to put together, and are holding up well. One note - be careful if you tend to open boxes by running scissors or a knife down the tape line! The seat was packed on top, with very little padding, so I scratched the first one lightly with the scissors (it now has a small line down the middle). Not very noticeable, but thought I'd warn others in case I'm not the only knucklehead who does this.

Look good and work great for the kids.
Took a little longer to assemble than I thought it would, but maybe that was just me. The wooden dowels for the screw holes were hard to put in and some fitted a lot flusher than others. A little disappointed that they did not have the antique/rustic look, that was what sold me on theses particular saddle seat stools as apposed to any of the others available.

A great addition to our kitchen
this was a great addition to our kitchen. we went on today to buy 2 more! the construction is solid and the stools are very sturdy. the black is an antique finish and the stools seem quite durable. have 2 young children and despite them banging around the bar stools, no chips on the paint! This was a good buy and we are happy with the purchase.

Nice, sturdy barstool
The saddle seat barstool pair is a great product at a great price! These are perfect for seating at our kitchen island--the kids LOVE to sit on them! They are a very nice walnut color, sturdy, and easy to assemble...would recommend to anyone!

LOVE THESE STOOLS!!!!!
I ordered four of the stools in the walnut finish. They look absolutely great against our white counter and lighter hardwood floors. We have received SO MANY compliments on them and not only do they look great, they are also quite comfortable! I shopped around extensively and this was the BEST PRICE for stools of the same quality elsewhere. The walnut color/stain is a rich, warm deep brown with some slight variances that make these look expensive and slight rustic, but still modern and stylish. They even have the bar across the bottom to rest your feet on. Can't say enough!
