I have a non-traditional desk. It is stainless steel and it is higher than traditional desks. Finding a chair was a problem which I solved by buying a traditional armchair that could be elevated to bar stool height. This didn't work! This chair is perfect! I don't often feel that way about purchases, but this one is a winner on all scores. AND IT IS FLEXIBLE AND COMFORTABLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! It snaps together in less than one minute and is stable.The best!!!

This product is very easy to assemble. It is quite comfortable and fun to sit in. I'll be buying more of these in different colors!

I highly recommend this barstool to anyone looking for a moderately priced, modern stool. It is comfortable, functional, and very easy to assemble. At about $50, it is an excellent value. While it is very attractive, I would have preferred that the seat be smaller for a smarter appearance; but the added seating area does seem to result in a stabler platform for those with a more ample posterior. Of note, I had to return one of the two stools I ordered due to a faulty lift mechanism, but the replacement arrived in perfect condition.

These stools are lovely to look at, relatively easy to assembll but after 6 months fell apart. The seat is cheap vinyl, cracks and rips at the seams. Very disappointing.

I had these a while & they are comfortable & cute. Everyone likes them.

Good stool for light sitting and hanging out. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Solid stools are $300 so this is for light sitting.

These are an outstanding value for the price. Arrived quickly, went together in less than 5 minutes each because we paid close attention to the drawing. Find a cheaper or better made pneumatic stool at this price? I don't think so.

I bought these to be used 8+ hours/day. I don't think that's what they were designed for. There's not a lot of cushion in the saddle. After a couple of weeks, I'm starting to see a bit of wear in the saddle (like seeing screw indentations in the seat - nothing major). One has a slight tilt to the right and the other to the left in the saddle. All that said, they're doing their job and doing it well. The hydraulic system is tough. They look AWESOME. And, for what I paid for them, I can have another set waiting in the closet. So, do I like them? YES! Would I do it again? YES! Should you get them? I say - YES!

I ordered these because I liked the idea of the adjustable height of the stools, and also that they did not have a back on them. My kitchen area and dining are are adjoining and this helps the view to the kitchen from the dining area and from the kitchen to the dining area, appear more open. Love the blue seats also. They were easy to put together, as I lost my instructions when I was putting together the first stool and was able to assemble without any problem.

I bought this stool more than five years ago from Overstock.com, and it's still in daily use! It looks just like the photo. It has a nice big seat, and is heavy and steady - not at all flimsy. The height can be raised and lowered, and I love the foot rail. I move it around to different parts of the house because I have a bad back and often need to sit while doing chores like cooking, washing dishes, ironing, or potting plants at my potting bench. It's held up for years with no problems.

I bought these to go in my craft room, I love the fun blue color. My son put two of these together in a about 20min. He had no issues. They apper to be good quality, time will tell. For *** they seem to be quite sturdy. My son is 6"4 and 240lbs and he has been sitting in them with no problems. They fit nicely under the bar height craft table when not in use.

Exceptional value. Stylish in our modern kitchen. Large seating area for my 205 pounds. Have used 3 of them daily for 2 years with no problems. May get a couple more.

These bar stools are comfortable and easy to move up or down. The only thing that I didn't like about them was the seat is the size of a tractor. Everyone who came to visit remarked about the stools which they said that they liked.

I bought this thinking it was soft leather and it ended up being hard vynal. It is very hard to sit on but looks great from afar, But looks cheap in person

I purchased 2 of these to replace a set of "blue" stools at my kitchen island I purchased from a competitor site that were not a true blue color. These were perfect because they are true to color, like a cobalt blue (exactly what you see on the screen) and easy to use. They are also easy to assemble as it took me about 5 minutes each stool. The lever is easy to use; push it up to move the stool up (while not sitting on it) & pump it down to adjust the stool down (while sitting on it). Simple enough. The stools have a leather like look to them, although I believe the seats are made out of vinyl. The seats are also large; much bigger than you would expect for a barstoool. I can sit comfortably. I also love how the seat curves along the backside and also has indentations for ones legs in the front of the seat. This makes it even more comfortable to sit in. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. PS As always shipping was lightening fast. Only took about 3 days to receive. Thanks again Overstock

My son needed a chair that was small and stylish for his room to use at his computer, which is on a high table. This stool is comfortable and the style fits in with the theme and colors of his room. It's very good quality and easily assembled. It cost more than I was intending on paying, but I'm very pleased with it overall, and he is too!

Previous reviews noted that the seating area was x-large and indeed it is. I was counting on that as I wanted to use this stool for portrait photography. The stool was put on "backwards" for a saddle seat - the lip was put in the back, instead of in the front. This leaves a wide area in the front, which is perfect for its intended use. Incredibly easy to assemble and the "up/down" is awesome.

First thing I should mention...Ive only had these stools for 1 week. They look wonderful though. Mine was in perfect condition and took 15 minutes to unpack and assemble. The seat is slightly larger than I thought it would be (or envisioned...I paid no attention to the actual seat dimensions when purchasing). The color is great, its blue with some deep purple undertones....it's not NY Giants Blue, more like Baltimore Ravens Blue.....if that helps. Very comfortable and the price....sweet,
