The curtain have nice strong burgundy color: keep light out of the room when you donít want light in the room. The curtains on overstock website picture of the curtains well burgundy one dose not look like the color when you get it deep burgundy.Read More
We love these panels, we have them on three bedroom windows. The pintucked taffeta forms a diamond pattern which we really like. We have not yet washed them, but it is good to new they don't have to be dry cleaned. They are quite elegant and just make the room very special.Read More
I bought these for a guest room that gets afternoon sun in hopes that it would help the heat problem. They are okay as far as that goes, but they aren't blackout. The sun shines right through the brown ones. And the fabric is described as taffeta, it is not a crisp fabric like I expected from that description. I kept them because I had guests coming, but I will be replacing them with something better suited to the room.Read More
The color loses it's integrity when the sun is shining. The material is so thin that the chocolate looks more olive during the day. It does not block out light any better than hanging up a light colored sheet would. I bought it for our guest room, but even just for that I'm not happy with the curtain. I will be returning and just getting one at the big box store that is the same price and better quality.Read More
The color on these window panels is NOT ACCURATE. The color is stated as "blue" on my receipt. It is pictured as an aqua color in the photo. When the panels arrived, THEY WERE GREEN - there were not in any way blue or aqua. The odd thing is the color listed on the actual window panel package says SABLE which is most commonly brown. The picture on the package shows the window panels just as they look here online - an aqua color. I am very disappointed and will be even more disappointed if I have to pay to ship these things back because they are very heavy. They just flat out are not described correctly. The window panels themselves are a very high-quality, thick, light-blocking fabric and the design is very modern and cute so if you are in need of SAGE GREEN curtains, these would be perfect. However they match nothing in my house.Read More

How to Install Blackout Curtains
Blackout curtains can keep a room cool and dark even when it's bright and sunny outside. A completely dark room is a wonderful thing if you have a job that requires you to work all night or even if you just want a dark room for watching a movie when it's light outside. In addition, blackout window treatments help you conserve energy by keeping heat in and cold out or vice versa. You have two choices when it comes to installing blackout curtains: You can buy curtains that come with blackout liners already sewn in, or you can add panels of blackout fabric to the curtains you already own.
How to Hang a Valance and Curtains
Hanging a valance and curtains over your window will add dimension, texture and style to any room. Window curtains with a valance give your window treatments a finished, designer look. If you are more interested in decoration and only need to block minimal light, then a valance over sheer curtains is a good choice. It's important to measure the window and decide what type of curtains you want before you buy the curtain hardware. A cafe rod will be sufficient to support a sheer curtain, but you will need a stronger curtain rod to support heavier fabrics such as blackout panels. Also, the larger the window, the sturdier the curtain rod will need to be.
