This 3.5 quart dutch oven is perfect for soups. I also made a stew in this, although it's smallerit still works great for the smaller items cooked when the family meal is smaller in number.Read More
I was looking for a enamelled cast-iron dutch oven in this size, and found this one on overstock.com. I am so pleased with this purchase. I use this cookware almost every day for many purposes, from boiling shrimp and pasta to browning meat to simmering soup. It heats up fast and evenly, holds heat well, and cleans up beautifully. The implement is nicely balanced to pick up, both the cover/handle and the pot handles, making it easy to move and drain when hot. This is a quality product I am happy to have, especially for the price. Highly recommend.Read More
I'm very disappointed in the quality of this item after many great overstock buys in the last few years. My dutch oven arrived badly damaged. The enamel layer was chipped and flaking off all around the inside of the pot, leaving the cast iron exposed. It would be unsafe and unusable in this condition. The lid was nice and solid with a metal handle, and the size is great for a small family, so I was very disappointed that I had to send this back. I won't be taking my chances on a replacement and will spend more to get a better quality dutch oven or will find one secondhand instead.Read More

Overstock answered my question about this product stating it is made in France, but it is made in China. The name "Sabatier" came into use before intellectual property laws and is not protected so the only way to tell if a product of this name is from one of the original high quality cutlery companies is to find out if it is made in the Thiers region of France. I should have known from the price that it could not be, but I dreamed. I will likely donate this pot to a local charity and try to forget this ever happened.Read More

This is made in France.
I ordered on the force of the Overstock answer below which is 100% WRONG. This is a MADE IN CHINA knock-off from 'Lifetime Brands'. It sucks.
We do not have the country of origin listed in our information; however, a customer noted in a product review that it is made in China.
could be used in the nuweave oven?
This is actually made in China, but it is not a knockoff.
