new sofa!
This is my first slipcover ever, and I'm thrilled with it. Beautiful burgundy color--not really deep, but more modern and happy-looking. It was quite easy to get it on the sofa and make adjustments. I think that the velvet looks just fine with extra wrinkles on the outside corners where the one-size-fits-all fabric bunches up. The fabric is very stretchy and forgiving. I have no idea how it will hold up, but I'm in love with the new look. I really liked the lines of my old sofa, and having a cover that's smooth and all one color emphasizes the great lines... and looks even nicer than the original! Replacing my sofa would have cost 20 times what the cover cost. If there were other colors available, I'd buy more!

Not recommended for households with pets.
I would not recommend purchasing this if you have pets in the home. Every piece of lint, fur and hair sticks to the velvet fabric. Vacumming does not work....you must use a lint roller or brush on a daily basis to make the covers look "clean".

lint magnet
it serves it's purpose, keeping the actual sofa clean...but the cover itself slips out very easily and every single molecule of lint and everything else will stick to this slipcover. and forget about using a lint roller, it just pushes it into the fabric more. on a good note, it's machine washable and easy to adjust

I would buy a different color
I love how this cover fits but the material collects so much fuzz from clothes ,food,etc. I would definitely buy again but in a different color .

love it
This is a beautiful solution to giving new life to an outdated sofa. We put it in our gameroom and it is so soft and nice looking. The best part is.....it is washable!! This was our first time using Overstock and was very pleased with the product and service.

velvet sofa cover
Even tho it gathers lint sometimes, i use a lint roller, but it looks great and very little adjusting when you get up.

I would not recommend this item to someone else, because it collects fuzz. Since there is fuzz all over it, it does look good. The way it looks is what brought down the rating. If someone knows a way to keep the fuzz off, then it would be a great value.
