  • Quiet and Efficient - Does What We Need It To Do

    We actually bought 2 of these humidifiers. The humidifier are used in 2 small (11'x11') bedrooms, one in each bedroom. They operate extremely quietly, nearly silently. They put out just the right amount of vapor for this size room. One of my daughters loves to use the nightlight feature, the other thinks it is too bright. Maintaining them is very simple, my daughters take care of this themselves. It is important to CHANGE out the water every day. It only takes a minute or two to do this, but it prevent build-up of slime and mineral deposits. Also, once per week you should empty the tank and fill it half way with water. Then add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Shake it up for a few seconds. Pour some of the vinegar water into the base. Then let them sit for 20 minutes. Dump and rinse thoroughly. They are now ready to fill with clean water and use. DO NOT run the vinegar water through the unit!!! It is also important to not let them run dry & continue running while dry. Also, if you're not going to use the humidifier for a few days, DO NOT let water sit in the tank. Empty the tank and base if you will not be using it for even just a couple days, to prevent slime from forming. Overall, I can highly recommend this humidifier for use in smaller rooms.

    This humidifier works well and has a nice design element to it. Haven't used the oil diffuser, but runs super quiet and water fill lasts for about two days running all the time. Water change can get a little messy, but overall does what I need it to do.

  • I am a bit confused. In the description it says it's a cool mist diffuser yet under Details it states the temperature as hot. Essential oils can't be used with heated models and this is what I want to purchase it for. Can someone please clarify this for me?
