I recently purchased this model. I placed the unit inside of my walk in cooler which operates at a constant 36 degrees. The "check" light turns on after just a few minutes of operation no matter what fan setting I place the unit on. Overstock.com has an operating temperature of 33.8 degrees listed in their "product details" section but the operators manual lists 41 degrees as the operating temperature. Why are these different and is there anything I can do to keep the "check" light from coming on?
This is the second year we have used our dehumidifier. It is great at keeping the moisture levels down in our house in winter. I really like the style of the case, and the fact that you can choose the moisture level you want and the fan speed you want. The tank is not huge, so we do have to empty the tank every 2 or 3 days, but this just serves to remind us of how hard it is working. Also, it does have to be placed away from our sleeping areas because it clicks on and off when moisture levels reach the requested percentage. Overall, this is a really good machine. Well worth the money.

Regular work horse This is the second year we have used our dehumidifier. It is great at keeping the moisture levels down in our house in winter.
