I was looking to purchase a good quality freezer that would fit into a specific small area. When finding the SPT 3-cubic feet freezer at an affordable price and that would fit into that space, I was excited. I ordered the freezer and within several days it was delivered to my home. The freezer was packaged with great care and arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to unpack and set-up. It took only a couple of hours to reach the proper temperature to begin using. The freezer is much more quiet than I thought it would be. The design of the front door rather than flip-top makes it so easy to access the inside baskets which hold a great deal of frozen foods. I am enjoying this freezer and would highly recommend this to those in need of a smaller size freezer.

The freezer arrived very fast and is quietly humming. It is so quiet that I have to check it's actually working. It is! The freezer's size is exactly what I needed as an extra space for big family gatherings and for freezing big batches of soups for the winter. I like the pull-out baskets and the key (curious grandkids all over the place). If SPT would find a way to put the temperature control knob somewhere on the front of the freezer and not at the bottom on the back it would be a perfect product.

This freezer is perfect. Whisper quiet, small footprint, but the drawers hold MUCH more than a shelf would. Curtails all the oddly shaped things that slide around and get lost in the big bin of a regular refrigerator freezer. You can easily see what you have. The electrician who added an outlet for us asked where to get one for himself. And the packaging was unique--the bottom of the outside box was taped to the rest of the box, making unpacking a breeze for someone who is just over 5 feet and hates wrestling packing boxes. And the foam insulation to protect it was attached to the inside of the box--again, making unpacking and recycling easy. Shipping, usually $2.95, was a special for $1 and it came in 4 days! Compare that to the $70-$170 shipping charges other vendors wanted. This was perhaps the best Overstock purchase we have made.

I sold a large freezer I had, but needed more than the refrigerater freezer. This fits my needs very well -- holds more than I thought it would, quiet and I love the baskets. Only had it about two months, but so far, very happy with purchase.

I love this freezer. It doesn't take much space, but holds a lot. It's so quite. The pull out drawers make it easy to see what you have. As always, Overstock has the best quality and price.

This is a great little freezer if you have limited space like I do. We had purchased a less expensive freezer from a big box store and had to return it immediately after opening it. Although less expensive, we got what we paid for. This freezer's quality is top notch. And having it delivered directly to our home with no shipping costs makes it an even better buy. Do not hesitate on this one.

Doesn't seem to run all that often like I've read about other small freezers. Very quiet, although it really wouldn't matter because it's in my garage. I like the slide out drawers and front access, which makes it easier to fit more food in the freezer and simple to remove. I believe the drawers are removable if you need to fit more food or ice in the freezer for those special occasions.

This is a good quality freezer that takes the pressure off the main kitchen one. It has 5 drawers which are very practical. I would buy this again.

I WANTED A SMALL PORTABLE FREEZER. THIS ONE FIT THE BILL. WON'T HOLD TONS OF FOOD, BUT THAT IS OK. I REALLY LIKE THIS SMALL FREEZER.

We've had to defrost this freezer after removing all the food at least 4 times since we it's been in use - 7 months. The seal around the door is continually loose and has to be put back in place each time we use it. I love having this extra freezer space because I cook ahead a lot and can store dinners. So I've lived with it so far. Now, I'm fed up and probably can't return it or get it repaired. I don't see any guarantee with it. One inconvenience I was willing to live with is no knob on the inside for turning it off when defrosting. It has to be pulled out from the wall. Also there is no light, but even that isn't a deal-breaker. But, come on, it cost enough to warrant being a decent working product. I would love to be able to recommend it because the price is right and it has been very useful.

Shipping was fast and arrived without any problems. However, I wanted to change the door so that it would open on the right side. There are no instructions included on how to do this. However, I was able to figure it out. The top bracket/screws were no problem but the bottom holes did not line up well with the screws. I forced the screws in and hopefully this will not be a problem. It seems to be working fine. As stated the thermostat is at the very bottom on the back of the freezer. Very inconvenient!!!! Because of this, I set the temp at 4 and just left it there rather than the 6 indicated in the manual. It seems to have no problem staying just below 0 degrees on 4. I would try it on 3 but moving it fully loaded would be too much.

I was surprised at how much this lil Freezer will hold. It's a great price and was shipped quickly. It is very energy efficient as well!

This freezer came in a box that was very easy to open and slide the freezer right out of. Plugged the freezer in and it's been working fine and very quiet. Just right for the space we had and a great buy for the money.

Received in just a few days of ordering. Plugged it in and in just a couple of hours it was ready to fill. Very quite. Can hardly hear it running. Just the right size to fit in my very small utility room. Holds a lot more food than I thought it would....! This little freezer has quite a bit of storage. It runs so quietly you have to listen very carefully to make sure it is running! The first one I ordered arrived damaged but had absolutely no trouble getting a replacement in a short time - great service!! It has been running for over a week and everything in it is frozen and no frost has developed yet but defrosting should not be a problem because of its small size plus they send a plastic scraping tool! Very, very satisfied and recommend to all.
