Love, love, love this fan! It does not use much water, as I barely turn on my hose. It makes being outside an absolute pleasure this summer. I have raved to everyone what a great invention this is and that it transform your outdoor living space. The quality is not the best, but with the weighted bottom, it does not tip over, which is a huge plus. I'm giving it an excellent rating, because it does what the listing said it will do and with all the options with the speed and airflow, you can set it for one person or a group of people. It is one of those items that you say "Boy, how could I go all these years, without this?"

    I had a little problem with the setup. as water was leaking from the hose and the valve. I just eliminated the valve. Was probably just a washer needed but I was afraid to play with it. I`ll let my "man" do it. The mister was very effective, I used it in Florida in July!

    • Thank you for your question jsjohnston13. The approximate footage the unit will cool is about 640 sq.ft. But it's hard to indicate how far the mist can be felt, as many factors will affect this such as wind, the humidity level and the temperature. Have a great day.
