DOES NOT live up to description. This was used ina 100 sq ft attic room. The room is very well insulated and the season was not extremely hot. This would NOT cool the room at all. I ended up buying a 5000 BTU window ac and it works great. SPT is awful. Tried to contact them on several occaisions and no response. Will not buy from them again. Save yourself the money and do not believe their claims. 14000 BTU my bottom!!

Not Worth the Money The A/C has to run constantly to cool even a smaller square footage than it claims to be able to cover. We bought it to cool a 20 x 20 space, but even with a pedestal fan can't seem to get the cool air to extend more than 10 feet or so in front of the machine (that's right, unless you're directly in front of it, there's no effect). Even when it reaches the desired temp, the fan kicks on so you're still spending electricity without much cooling. I would definitely return if shipping wasn't so expensive!! Better to spend money on some heavy duty fans and save a bunch!
