This product is OK but not great. It only cools one room and the room is medium sized. and it is not COLD it just cools. I bought it to keep from having anything hanging out of second floor window, now i have this big thing in middle of the floor. i would strongly suggest window units

This product does an adaquate job but the major drawback is that the water draw fills up after four to five hours of use. If you can spend the extra $$ on a higher BTU system then I would suggest that but this is a fair price for the machine that you receive.

It just blow semi-cool air. Doesn't really cool the room. Would not recommend. Wish I could return it, but it's extremely bulky.

It does work, but I have it for a small room. You do need still a window so that the hose can come out, since it needs to blow a hot air out. Depending on the humid you will need to empty water. Be aware of the size, it's huge!

I just wrote a review on the wrong SPT product. I just realized it when I had finished. Please disregard my previous review. This unit is great. It cools our 300ft bonus room nicely. We were extremely surprised that a portable unit could work so well. It was easy to install, but you must have an outlet close to a window. The hose is large, but the unit is worth every penny that we paid for it.
