They look great around the table and are of very good quality and construction. Because of the padded seat they a little more bulky when folded for storage. I actually had friends over and a they commented on them and wanted to know where I got them becasue they liked them. One more thing: they are comfortable (very imporatant) we sat around for hours and no one was squirming.

I was so pleasantly surprised that these chairs were so affordable. I had decided to give up some antiques that had been in my family, and was a bit wary since these were so cheap, but based on the reviews I decided to go for it. SO glad I did, they're great and I may buy another set to keep in case they sell out!!!

Good quality folding chairs. Much better looking and more comfortable than the cheaper variety. We can use them when we have to expand the dinner table to maximum and they don't look so out of place. They don't store quite as flat and the non-cushioned kind, but that is a trade-off I'm happy with.

Product arrived well packaged and in good shape. Ease in opening and closing. Slim so there is ease in storage. Chairs are very comfortable. Great for that extra company.

I was looking for chairs that could do double-duty as dining room/bedroom chairs in my small house. These chairs fit the bill! I agree with previous raters that they take up more storage room than a metal folding chair, but my solution is to just use them all the time! Their small size tucks easily into a bedroom corner to provide a place to put on your shoes. They are comfortable enough to sit in and chat with dinner guests for lengthy periods of time. I bought four chairs, and I am delighted! My only issue was with the packaging...one box was ripped open and somewhat mangled, but this did not affect the chairs. I highly recommend these chairs!

I loved the chair, unfortunately they arrived three days to late for the event I needed them for. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the chair and they look nice with my dining room set. I am sure I will use them many times in the future.

I needed folding chairs as our family is getting bigger- sons in law, grandchildren.... these chairs are comfortable and nice looking. easy to set up, and sturdy enough for a booster seat. The only problem is they take up twice the storage space as the (ugly) metal folding chairs, and I am still looking for a convenient place to keep them. I definitely would recommend them.

I bought these folding chairs for the occasional family get togethers. (purchased 3 sets of 2 chairs). We have used them already. Our son, 6'3" 250lbs, used one - I was concerned for the strength but it worked out well. Would buy again but I probably won't need any more.

It was difficult to see the finish of the chairs in the photo, and I could not locate a finish color in the description or by chatting with the Overstock customer service person. The chairs are comfortable and are a perfect companion for a gateleg table. I plan to refinish the chairs, which will be easy to do since one can remove the seat easily with just a few screws - this also allows one to recover the seats if desired or necessary.
