Great price, great machine. This is a 2 stroke motor so you'll need to mix oil in with the gas. Compare prices and quality at the big box stores and you'll choose this machine.

This item had great reviews so I decided to order one.The trimmer I received looked like it had been used/abused for years. The paint finish had major chips and the fuel tank had deep scratches in it. I would have accepted these flaws, however, the housing was also cracked and part of it was broken off. This is where I drew the line, no thank you, I returned it the next day.

My old Ryobi gave up the ghost after about 7 year of use. That may not seem like many years of service but out here in L.A. we have to cut our lawns about 11 months out of the year. I was looking for a replacement where I could continue to use my old attachments. This model fit the bill and added the only other two attachemnts I had contemplated buying. I have not used the hedge trimmer to date but if it works as well as the edger I am expecting great things. One plus on this model over my older Ryobi is the larger gas tank. One minor negative is that this model seems to generate more heat or has a less efective heat shield. I have had to adjust my grip position in order to feel less heat on my forearm. Not really that big of a deal. This is probably my 10th "refurbished" item I have received from Overstock and I have yet to be disappointed.

good product and price. very solid. the parts inter-change easily. good product for the price
