Ruvati 16-gauge Stainless Steel 33-inch Double Bowl Overmount Kitchen Sink

This sink is fantastic! Completely transformed my kitchen, and it's a joy to use every day. Stylish, spacious, love the depth, not easily scratched also love that it's really quiet. I have 16" faucet installed, and there are no problems with splashing. Also love the grates that came with the sink. Not only they protect the surface, they are exceptionally functional. I was not a fan of the grates before I got these, but have to say, the design is great. The drainers also come with stoppers, which are really useful, and steel baskets that are easy to pull out with handles. But anyway, one star off. The sink does have some cons. I have 1.5" butcher block countertops. The depth is not really that unusual, but the clips that came with the sink can only accommodate countertop with up to 1" in depth. The installation was really easy until we got to this part. So it took a few hours of struggling before we figured out that these intricate clips were way too short. I called the company, and got a call-back within an hour with manager telling me that clips are not really necessary for install because the weight of the sink should keep it in place. Could have saved a lot of time and frustration had this bit of information been included in the instructions (which by the way completely lack anything about the clips or how to clip them on). The bottom portion of the sink is also slanted towards the drain, but only by maybe 1 or 2 degrees. It doesn't really do much for successfully draining out all the water, and I always have a little pool collected at the bottom in the corners. I would imagine that if your surface is not perfectly leveled the problem would be even worse. Would have love to see the angle just a tad more so that water can run off in the drain more easily. The drainers are also plastic, except for the top part that is visible in the sink. It seems to be a quality plastic, but I didn't like it so much, as I expected the threads to be metal. Despite these two items, I really do love the sink and very happy with it. I enjoy using it every day.

The measurements were precise and important. We had to pay contractors to custom cut the granite and custom fit the pipings. Overall what was impressive is the depth of the 10" sinks. The depth made the double sink larger than a farm house sink. Great effect!

The sink is beautiful. The finish scratches a little easy, but the grates included do prevent scratches. The corners are very square. We had to grid out the corners of our counter top to accommodate it. Well worth the trouble. We have received many compliments on it. One downfall is that the sink does not allow for slant out storage for sponges and things.
