The bamboo shade is 38 inches wide and the hardware may add to the width slightly. Therefore, for an inside mount we recommend ordering a shade that is at least 1/4-inch smaller in width than the width inside your window frame. This is not a privacy shade; light will filter through. Not for outdoor use--it will mold in a high-humidity environment.

Just what I was hoping for
It was a little tricky hanging it on an outside mount, and the detached side flaps gave us a little trouble--but we sorted it all out and are happy with the look and quality. We would order more!

Perfect look!
Everything was great about this product. However, if you are looking for blackout shades this product is not for you. I read the previous reviews and they are a bit see through. They look great though and let in just a bit of light.

I am very pleased with these blinds. They look gourgeous! The way the light filters through them creates a lovely and warm feel to my kitchen. They were easy to install and operate smoothly. I would highly reccomend this product.
