Very easy and simple to assemble. STURDY! Great quality logs (not cheap). We lost our home to a fire and this is my duaghter's new bed.....she LOVES IT! Looks beautiful in our new log home.

Perfect for use in the room our grandaughter uses when she visits. However, it is difficult to find Cot mattresses and the large dowels to hold the cot are a bit far apart. But these things will just take a matter of leg work on our part. Over all the bed is sturdy and looks awesome!

I love this bed! There was a piece missing, but that was resolved rather quickly. It was pretty easy to put together. My biggest problem has been finding a mattress the right size. Cot mattresses don't work. I found that a foldaway bed mattress comes in the right size. It would have been great to have the whole thing complete (mattress and all) so I didn't have to shop around on line so hard to find the right size mattress...

I really like the style ofthis daybed. The service was great, and the contact regarding shipping was appreciated. The only downfall to this is trying to find a mattress & linens to fit it. I would have been a great thing if the site would have had these available for purchase, if not as part of the pacakge, or at the very least a few links as to where to find one. I am still working on finding a mattress with out having to spend more than I did for the bed, and having it custom made.

Although I was skeptical about being able to assemble this after seeing one skinny box arrive, it really was easy to do. The bed seems to be very sturdy - more sturdy than I had anticipated which is good & it looks just as pictured. It was also helpful to know ahead of time that it took a special mattress size. I ordered that after it had been assembled just to make sure that the recommend size 30 X 75 was accurate (which it was).

This is a good value for the money but comes unassembled and unfinished. I've had to sand every piece and it requires two coats of varnish as well to look good. The cuts and ends are rough cut, and have required both a carving knife and lots of sand paper. This is a lot of work and has taken me days and is not finished yet. If you have the time and ability to do this project I think it is a reasonable value for the money.

I love this day bed. However I did have to have a custom mattress made for it. A single mattress is just too wide.

This is adorable and me being a small women I was able to put it together myself. Only downfall is, its a strange size mattress that needed to be special ordered. Other then that..I LOVE IT

The finished product is great...sturdy and just as pictured. It took more time to assemble than I had planned for and after assembly I needed to weight it to eliminate a small alignment issue. Was glad I stained it before assembly and be aware that there is no platform on which to place your mattress (only 30" wide), just the logs from front to back. I remedied this with a sheet of 1/2" plywood over the logs. The mattress issue was solved by buying a 5" high density foam mattress from *** and cutting it down to size with an electric knife.

This log daybed looks good in our log cabin. We use it as a couch and a bed. It was not easy to put together. In several places, the wood had to be twisted to make it fit, which then meant the piece did not sit flat on the floor. We ended up having to shim it. Also one of the spindles broke, so we had to make one to replace it. We also took some heavy duty wood and used it as the "box springs" for the mattress. Once we tweaked things, it's turned out to be a sturdy piece.

We are very happy with the purchase. The price was good.Smooth delivery.But I am still not able to find the 30x75 mattress, places that i have enquired about the mattress seem to have a high pricing which is almost double the price of the day bed.I wish they had the mattress included.

We were looking for a sofa or daybed for our 3-season room and this served the purpose. It's very sturdy, was easy for 2 to assemble (it took us less than 2 1/2 hours), and the wood does not require finishing. I found a place to order the cot size mattress from, so no problem there. It looks great in its location and we love it.

We really like this bed! It is for our grandson when he stays with us. I did read the comments before we purchased this bed. It was easy to get a matress, we found a mattress manufacturer in our areaa who made a custom fit COT matress. Love the look in our mountain home!

I had been looking for something like this to put in my rustic whitewashed beadboard sunroom as a couch instead of a regular daybed or futon. This is the perfect size. I bought a 5 inch foam cushion at the craft store to use as a mattress that I will cover and make pillows for. Putting it together required a little muscle and elbow grease since it came in log pieces. We did have to put a board under it to make the bed more solid. It makes our sunroom the perfect place to take an afternoon nap or watch TV. The cats even like it!

Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to find a 30" mattress which is the size needed for a perfect fit with the bed. We have made due with a wider mattress for the time being -- hoping to find the right size eventually.

Very cute and easy to assemble the only problem I had was ordering a mattress to fit the size of the bed. This is a cot size mattress which had to be special made. However it was very inexpensive ($100) to have one made to fit the bed.

The dimensions of the day bed make it comfortable for either sitting or sleeping once you finally get it assembled and locate a mattress. Several of the post lengths were not quite consistent and several of the holes seemed slightly off center which made assembly difficult even with 2 people working. Finding a 30" x 75" mattress to fit is not so simple, if you're on a budget or time frame it's a good idea to find and price that before ordering the day bed. Due to decorating and space restrictions I needed a smaller size, sturdy, simple sofa/bed with low sides and found very limited availability of items that would work. Overall the day bed has fit the bill and seems to be a decent product.

I absolutely love the bed. It was fun to assemble even though I had to whittle down one of the pieces that was too long. But overall, this bed is ideal for my decor and fit my budget!!!!

I purchased this bed for our spare room. It is very well made-very sturdy. As always, Overstock is quick with delivery. I am quite pleased.
