Customer Reviews
I hung this swing from a strong wooden frame that was cemented into the ground on 6x6 posts. Thought it would last forever. After one season, the back broke off (exposed to weather and partial sun). It broke off with the pegs still in the holes. The pegs should have gone deeper. My husband always uses wood glue for pegs for added strength. Obviously glue won't last forever in weather, but without it, this would have broken even sooner. The pegs do not go in deep enough to support the swing back. My husband repaired it with screws, but it broke again. No way will this last 25-30 years as the description says! It got only minimal use but lasted just one season. Waste of money. Also the seat isn't that comfortable. The edges of the slats come up several inches from the knee (short seat) and it digs into the backs of your legs. You'll need a cushion to overcome this problem.
Appearance and price were great. Construction was faulty as holes in arms and chair didn't line up. As I had already stained it I was unable to return it. Instructions were easy to read.
no directions. holes dont line up, had to drill my own. looks good now, but alot of extra work and noticable now.

Finish sanding a little lacking. Arm on one side off camber a little. NO directions. I am pretty good at assembly of items but I was left guessing a little.

Very shabby. Did not fit together without great difficulty. Wood is raw and uncomforatble to sit on. Fell apart twice since I put it together.
