      The log bookcases were delivered very quickly and look wonderful. No problems with assembly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of bookcase.

    • Log Pole Bookcase

      Bought this book case to complete a bedroom set that I bought where I couldnt get this style of bookcase with my set. When the book case arrived I was shocked at how rough the wood was, it took me 5 hours of sanding by hand just to knock down the large splinters. I used a woodgrain enhancement and a satin clear seal on this unit and it came out beautiful! The biggest issue is that you must have two persons to assemble this unit as the parts of the unit that come assembled twist in shipping and in order for the unit to sit level or flush against a wall one person on each end must twist until its level, this must be done prior to putting the center rungs together for the planks to sit flat. Its a great weekend project and I love the strong sturdy rustic log shelf! All in all I am happy with the unit but it was more work that the advertisement led me to believe, but was worth the effort.

    • Was Just What I Expected

      It was heavy in the box and only slightly awkward putting together by myself . I could have used a good rubber mallett to help but I used the wood itself and it's a good hard wood and didn't dent. It's together and serving it's purpose now even though I didn't glue or screw it together yet.
