Kind of easy to put together, nice to rock in, beautiful outside. It is not painted or stained, you need to do that. It's not exactly as solid as it looks in the picture (it's really light weighted wood). Overall- I'm glad I bought it, it's a comfy loveseat rocker.
Easy to put together, attractive, sturdy-no issues
This settee is very cute and definitely goes well in my log cabin. I do have some complaints, though. One is it doesn't rock very well. It's not a nice, smooth motion. Second is the way it's designed, the hard wooden edges dig into the back of your legs and is very uncomfortable. You have to have a cushion on it that goes all the way beyond the edge in order to sit for more than a few minutes at a time. Third, the rocker actually sits backwards farther than normal and it looks strange. It looks like if you sit in it, it's going to tip backwards on you and you'll fall off the other side. That doesn't actually occur, but it does look like it. If you want it mostly for the look, I'd say go for it. If you want to actually sit in it, then you will need a pad and probably will have to sew it yourself to fit the depth.
The settee was easy to assemble, my husband who is skilled at construction, found it a piece of cake. The only thing we will need to do is treat it with something as it will be staying outside during the warm weather months. All things considered, I think this was a good value.
very durable , easy construction. worth the price.
Very nice rustic settee. Durable and comfortable. Construction was somewhat difficult, but worth the trouble.
A great rocker and wasy to put together. We love the look and durabilty of this rocker and look forward to seeing this cedar wood age. Would recommend this rocker.
The rocking bench is just as I thought it would be. We put it together easily.
I bought one but I haven't used it yet. It looks like something outside of a museum. It looks like something at Mount Vernon. I would rather buy a metal chair that is swinging
