I purchased two of these, and now that I've seen them, I wish I could have gotten four! If an old lady like me can put them together, you can, too! ;) Don't panic if it seems the pre-drilled holes to receive the chairback don't seem right....it's simple to adjust the chairback top and bottom for a snug fit. Great product!

Wood is Very soft . Very difficult to get all 4 legs to touch the ground together w/out sanding. Sprlinters in each end of each worked piece of wood

I purchased this Garden Chair along with the Garden Bench and the Square Table. I just finished assembling all and I love all the pieces. They are so well-made and will look great in my back yard. I lightly sanded the pcs and put a wood stain ( I used Minwax Stain - color golden oak) on. After drying overnight, I followed up with a urethane gloss ( I used Minwax Spar Urethane clear semi-gloss ) , sanded the pcs. after it dryed for 24 hrs., and put a 2nd coat on. They look great ! I put all the furniture together myself - didn't have help from hubby at all. Used a rubber mallet to hammer the backs so they would fit into the pre-drilled holes. No problems at all in assembly ! Quality A +

Overall pleased with chairs and bench. I would highly recommend a light sanding and transparent waterproofing stain. Easy assembly. Both chairs were a little unblanced following construction (wobbly) but not a deal breaker.

I used a Cabot stain so the cedar would match the exterior of my house.

I LOVE THE LOOK ,THE LARGE SIZE AND BULKINESS OF THE CHAIRS. THE MAIN PROBLEM WE HAD WAS ASSEMBLY. ONE CHAIR YOU HAD TO STRUGGLE TO GET THE PARTS FITTED TOGETHER AND THE OTHER WAS DRILLED OUT OF LINE AND THE PARTS DID NOT MATCH, WITH SOME WORK WE GOT IT TOGETHER BUT SOME HOLES AND DOWELS DIDNOT LINE UP RIGHT AND THE CHAIR DOESNOT SIT STRAIGHT. WE'RE USING THEM ON THE LAWN SO IT DOESNT SEEM TO BE A PROBLEM. IT WOULD BE ON A LEVEL SURFACE. OTHER THAN THAT I LIKE THE CHAIRS.

A well made chair. Easily assembled and comfortable. Very pleased with this chair.
