This chair looks very nice. I like modern furniture and this is definitely a conversation piece. The quality is replica quality. The screws are too short and I had to contact the customer service to get another set but still short. It's comfortable but you do need a cushion for the back otherwise you will feel the metal wires when you lean back, which could hurt. Overall I like the appearance. Anyway, I do not seat in it so much. This is just one of my show pieces.

I have been trending toward contemporary for the past few years. However, finding furniture that falls into this wide category at an affordable price is not easy! As another review said, there are a "few inconsistencies" with original but if you are into modern and not into spending a fortune, you can't beat these chairs. Mine came as a gift! The chairs were wrapped well, to say the least!!! The price, not the lowest online, comes out the same when you add shipping from other sources! I trust Overstock and have wanted a pair of "Bertoia look-alikes" for a long time. My God -parents decided to make it happen. The reason I hadn't ordered them myself is that I had this fantasy about finding a deal on the originals! That didn't happen! This did and I am really happy! Don't be afraid to use them in a contemporary living room or family room. They are very comfortable and are perfect for smaller spaces or awkward floor plans. As with the original, the concept is to have comfort without visual bulk. You will see these chairs in some of the finest homes! My goal was to have additional seating and not block the beautiful view from my front windows. Just be sure your other furniture isn't so bulky that it over powers these great classic pieces. They are also used outdoors and look awesome in a contemporary patio or garden setting! Good luck! PS- I hate to give anything 5 stars but I just couldn't find any fault here!

Obviously an, uhhh... "interpretation" of a famous design, the Rupert delivers good value. A few inconsistencies with the original, but for the money, no complaints. Received in 3 days (!) very well packaged, the whole base was wrapped with paper and well protected. It was like unwrapping a mummy, very exciting. The seat was bubble-wrapped. 4 bolts connect the seat and base, took 2 minutes to assemble. The chair itself looks nice, the seat pad is a tad cheesy, but better than what's pictured, they have it on backward. It sits upright and is passably comfortable, but not something you're going to curl up and read a book in. You can probably find this for a few bucks less somewhere else, but you can't beat overstock for fast shipment and being great to work with.
