I ordered the ivory version of this rug. The color in person looks like the picture. The rug is nice and thick, but it does shed a bit, so beware. I'm very happy with the quality.

I was nervous about ordering this as I thought it might be a little "blah" but it was the perfect touch to my shabby-chic living room area. I have a cream sectional sofa with hints of denim blue and lavender and the rug draws out those colors nicely. It's very soft and you can tell that the quality is very good. I definitely recommend the denim color!

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this rug looked exactly the same in person as online (I ordered the ivory one). It also was delivered quickly and in great condition. So far, the quality seems good, as I haven't had any shedding unlike a lot of the reviewers of other wool rugs out there have complained about. Good value for price.

After looking at this style of rug on another site for a lot more $$ I decided to order this one. It is very soft and looks great in our dining room. After 6 months it has not shed very much, however the dining room doesn't get much food traffic. Overall very pleased with the color, feel and look of the rug. I ordered the green rug and it looked just like the picture.

I was in need of a neutral brown rug for my customer. The two colors are great and look very similar to the picture shown. The pile is nice and thick. It will need a lot of vacuuming at first becasue it is new, but other than that it is a great vaule for this rug.

I really like this rug, the color is great and is just like what I found at **** but for less. However, as a wool rug it sheds badly, worse than my Great Pyrenees dog which is significant. It is also in my boys' room and gets lots of jumping and tumbling which makes the shedding worse. Even with the shedding I still prefer the natural fibers to synthetic rugs.

Very happy with the area rug. It's thick and cushy. Not much shedding. The color true to the color shown on the web site. The rug arrived within the time frame given. It was packaged very well and was in good condition. This was the first purchase I made from Overstock, and I would definitely order from you again.

Center of rug was not as light as picture. I was happy it was not a yellow ivory color instead it was a soft taupe. The rug also has some dark tones in it. Looks great with my dark furniture, but looks nothing like the image displayed.

This seems to be a nice rug...not sure I would purchase it again though. The color is not accurate. I got the denim color and it actually looks more gray/black...it has NO blue in it whatsoever. Also, the back of the rug pulls very easily. If you have animals, you would have a hole in it pretty quickly.

This rug is exactly what I needed. Soft, classy color scheme, and made of natural wool with almost no perceptible off-gassing (which is the most important issue for me). I searched for over a year for a rug this size made of natural fiber that would not off-gas, at a reasonable price. This one is perfect and a lot softer and more comfortable under foot than expected. There has been minimal shedding, even where the doors scrape the edge of the rug. The only issue I had was the rug was a bit thicker than expected and my doors had to be planed on the bottom so they wood open and close over the rug. But this ended up making the rug more luxurious and comfortable than I expected. The price was better than I found for any other natural fiber rug of this size.

I ordered the green rug for a play room for our son, wanting wool, but not wanting to pay a fortune for a playroom rug. I have 2 similar rugs from PB in cream, so this rug seemed like a good knock off that would match my other rugs. I read the other reviews which indicated it sheds terribly, but figured all wool rugs shed...well this rug sheds! I have vacuumed this rug probably 6 times and each time I end up with a FULL canister of green wool fibers. I honestly don't know how there are any fibers left. The quality is ok, but I keep looking over at my similar PB rug which is right next to it and compared to it...this rug is a shadow, the fibers are bigger and not as tightly woven. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. If you have the extra money go with the PB...if not, expect this to be ok, but not great.

A very pretty, simple rug that looks great on hardwood floors! We also recently purchased the Handtufted Jaira Red New Zealand wool rug, and the Alexa rug is slightly more prickly. Still feels fine on bare feet, however.

We were very Pleased with this rug and color is nice (got the green one) Everyone comes in an says nice rug goes well on wood floor. There are fuss balls, so I hope that goes away, just have to give it time. Overall I would say it is a good buy.

This rug is beautiful and i love the color but it is shedding like crazy. I am hoping this is just because it is new but, we will see. Until then, we are doing a lot of vacuuming.

If you're looking for a chocolate brown, classy thick wool rug, this one is great. It's the right color (nothing weird about the color) and it has a slightly lighter color in the body of the rug. Perfect.
