better looking in person, but more on the decortive side than usable. not for sleeping or resting on, but for finishing off, polishing off a look in a room. I tossed on the center of my guest bed and one on the accent chair in the room.

These were beautiful pillow covers, excellent quality and construction, and a great buy, but the color was not as expected. I had thought they would come through as gold, but they are BRIGHT yellow. Still very pretty, but not something I can use. I considered returning them, but discoverd that the receipt indicated that "this item is final sale". Even when I went back onto the website, I could find nothing that indicated that. Hopefully I will find someone who can use them or maybe I'll just donate them to my local resale shop. I'm just glad they were not more expensive.

When I ordered these, I did not realize that the pillows were not included so be aware that they are covers only. We loved the style although they came with a little opening in the side where the assembler probably cut the material too close. We liked them so much though that sewing the pillow up was no big deal. Unfortunately our dog liked them too and one day when we were out, he tore one up. It was a pity since they were unique and different from what you would find in most stores.
