I guess this is OK for a cheap table, but I would not recommend it to anyone other than a college kid. I apparently got taken in by the high number of excellent reviews. I don't know how this got such great reviews really, it's just a cheap, wobbly table with a poor finish on the top surface. I guess you get what you pay for!

This table is everything it should be for the price. If your leaf doesn't match, then it should be sent back, because my leaf is the same style and edging as the table and fits fine. The size is 38" in diameter. That is only 2" larger than a 3 foot bistro table. If you want larger than buy larger. It arrived quickly in 3 boxes. Took about 20 mins to assemble. I probably could have done it alone, but my husband & I did it together. I think the finish is nice and even. It's very stable as far as I'm concerned. Something I really like is that I have a slate type tile floor that isn't perfectly flat. The leg have screw in rubber pads on them which is perfect because I was able to adjust the one leg so that it didn't wobble. Overall, I like this table. It's under $$$. Has anyone priced quality wood products lately?

The leaf of the table does not have the same shape on the edge. Hence it does not match the rest of the table. Other than that the table was relatively easy to assemble and is as described. We were looking for a smaller table for our space, which is temporary, and it suits us so far. Unfortunately it would cost quite a bit of money to return, so we are keeping the table.

I'm a senior citizen, live alone, and I put this together with ease. At least as easy to assemble as IKEA products.

Very Pleased the item was exactly as descibed. I have made allot of furniture and this is high quality. They even took the time to match grain patterns in the table top. This is why we use Overstock. We are never disapointed

This table is great. The one mistake I made was not covering it with something but it has already been scratched. Putting it together was a problem for me because I could not put the top on the bottom and had to wait or my son to come. Make sure (if you are a elder female) that you have someone to help you. Again I am happy with the table!!

I bought this for my breakfast nook and it is terrific. It is very heavy and solid and seats 4 while closed and up to 7 ( or even 8 in a pinch) when extended (because of the pedestal there is no lost space). Only downside is that it is sometimes hard to get the very cool extension mechanism to completely close when extended. Great table for the kitchen or a casual dining area.

I have only had the table together for one day so I have yet to see if it holds up as I expect. All of the hardware was with the shipment and it is quite sturdy. I have paid close to this amount for a table and four chairs at one of the well known retailers and in comparison, I am so much more pleased with this even though I am using my existing chairs. I do not regret this purchase at all. I chose to write a review because I relied on the other reviews to make the decision to purchase this table. I hope it holds up for years to come because I just love it.

it was an ok table, just the wrong color, so i sent it back.

It is replacing a table I brought from Europe years ago. Of course the quality is not the same, but it serves the purpose. It was very easy to assemble by myself. I am a lady 60 years old, and I did it with no help!

Nice color of table, looks goods but seems a little loose on the ends....if you need to move it. Not a solid table top.

In the process of downsizing, I had to give up my cherised solid oak pedestal dining table that sat 8-10 people. When I saw this table, I was immediately drawn to the pedestal as it was very similar to my other table. Upon receiving it, I was able to assemble it myself in about 10 minutes. The 'woodgrain' may not scream oak hardwood but is beautiful none the less. Very easy to take care of, in fact, much easier than previous table! A wipe and dry and it shines right up. No worry about scratches or stains. Love it!

The table came quickly. Once we opened it and put it together we were a bit surprised at the size of the table without the leaf in-- very small, once the leaf is inserted it is not huge. The picture is deceiving. l do believe it is of good quality and found no damages. l have ordered from Overstock before and will continue to do so. Once my chairs arrive l believe my dining room will look great. l think the quality of the table is good- it is just a bit small all the way around [or oval]

I like the color, style, and ease of assembly. I don't care for the method used for butting the wood pieces together on the table top. Some areas show up more than others. Shipping was quick, and I was able to enjoy my table in time for the holidays.

This is a very attractive and sturdy table that is just right for two, where space is limited. With the leaf, which is 22 inches wide, in place four or more can be seated. The color (oak) blends well with our maple chairs.

It is everything it's described to be... not too hard to put together... good quality wood and hardware,,, the only drawback (for me) is that this is NOT a dining room table... it's a kitchen table, and its very small.
