ITEM WAS VERY MISLEADING FROM THE PICTURE. IT'S A SOFT BUT THIN SILK FEELING. YOU WILL ACTUALLY HAVE TO ORDER SEVERAL SO IT WILL LOOK ATTRACTIVE. IT'S HARD TO IRON AND CONFUSING. JUST WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UNLESS YOU HAVE THE PANEL TO GO WITH.

These curtains look as they appear on the site. I bought the panels and valance in Gold. They are nice for a bedroom, office, bath, or den. The delivery was Very fast! I am very pleased. I wanted insulated or thermal curtains around the house before winter 09. These have a extra piece of material sewned to the back of the panel to help insulate the window. I wish the valance was attached to the panel for easer hanginng.

I purchased the valance and they look just wonderful in our family room. You cannot beat the price; it looks like I spent a lot more on the curtains than I actually did. Very nice color and design and really looks beautiful. I purchased the cinnabar color..

I bought six of the cinnabar colored trumpet valance for two windows in my bathroom. They look wonderful and I love the color. The curtains had 5 pockets (three on the straight side and 2 on the curved side) and I have never seen curtains like this so I had no idea how to hang them and there was no instructions to show me how. I think I finally hung them the correct way putting the rod through the second pocket on the curved side of the valance. The quality of the valances are good and they are very elegant looking.

These valances were exactly the color I hoped they would be. They match perfectly with our bedding and have an elegant style. They do have a slight sheen, which is exactly what I was looking for. Take note, though, that the rod pocket is only 1.5 inches instead of 3 inches as stated on the web site. This created a problem because I have 2.5-inch rods. To avoid having to change out all the hardware, I ripped out the top seams of each of the rod pockets to make them 3 inches wide. My other disappointment is that the fabric is quite sheer, so in the daylight you can see the blinds behind the valance.
