Received my dishes today. They arrived in perfect condition.The set is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. I was looking for a set of white casual china with a pattern in the border. The serving pieces are large and adequate. I'm sorry that it didn't come with soup bowls. However I noticed that you do offer them as a separate item. The price is reasonable. They cost much more on other sites.

I have had my eye on this dinnerware for a couple of months. I was looking for something for everyday use that was all white, but not too plain or too ornate. The edge pattern on this is lovely. I also wanted something lighter than my old, heavy stoneware set (Pfaltzgraff Gazebo) and I don't like the feel of Corelle so porcelain seemed like the logical choice. I had just placed an order for this set elsewhere when it appeared on Overstock a day later (of course) for much less money! So I canceled the other and bought them here. They arrived within 4 days, perfectly packed, and not a chip or broken dish in the lot!! These really are pretty dishes. Although they lack the refinement of expensive bone china they are NOT cheap looking at all. And the finish work seems fine, the bottoms are smooth and not rough or scratchy. You get alot of pieces in this set, 3 different size plates (dinner, salad, dessert) plus the saucer/teacup combo, 2 serving pieces and hostess set. I whacked a plate on the counter taking it out of the dishwasher and it didn't break, so hopefully that means they are strong but only time and usage will tell. The biggest problem with this set is the lack of bowls. You can order rimmed soup bowls here on Overstock but there is also a matching cereal bowl and a mug available that I hope Overstock starts to carry as well. I saved so much money by ordering this set here I can afford to buy additional pieces!

I'm really pleased with this set of dishes. As the other reviewer noted, you do get a lot of dishes in the set. They are nice size with an understated elegance. The detail on the rims is very rich looking and contemporary (alternating raised white organic lines with a very faint mat silver fill every 4-5 spaces). The main white surfaces of the dishes are nice too ... not that harsh bright white, but not a beige/gray shade either. My husband thought they might be a bit too nice for everyday use, but I am using these dishes daily and they are holding up well. I gave 4 stars for workmanship because the bottom of the dishes are not 100% smooth. But that could be due to the nature of the material. I'm really pleased with the dishes. I did get an incomplete set (missing the bread-n-butter plates), but Overstock.com customer service was very helpful and getting a quick resolution. Great dishes and a great value.

I got this over a year back and we use it every single day and the only damage to them is a small chip at the bottom... inspite of all the abuse we throw at them. No set has ever lasted this long without atleast breaking one item from the set. Resists breaking very well. A very well made and elegant looking set. Our guest love it and think these are our special occasion dinner ware. As for the price, I bought it when it was @****... cant beat that.

The dishes are stoneware or something I called stoneware or ironstone way back when. The set is loveley though and looks good opn any brightly colored cloth , mats or a dark table.

I recived the plates in perfect conditon. Beautiful peice. Will recommend to friends and family.

This is a good buy for an attractive everyday dinnerware. Although the quality is not as high as a Royal Doulton, it is a good quality everyday china. I like white monochromatic dinnerware, the added texture pattern on the border gives it personality.

Beautiful set of dishes. I bought them for everyday so a little fragile with 2 kids but no problems so far. Only wish they came with soup or cereal bowls. I will have to pay more for bowls than I did for the whole set :(

This Dinnerware is of Good Quality and weight, is durable and dishwasher safe. It also has a Great appearance, is cost efficient and I look to enjoy many meals with family and friends. I would highly recommend this Dinnerware to friends and family.

Beautiful!! Why save it for a special occasion. Use it for everyday. Lifes to short. The dishes are beautiful and the white on white is quietly stunning. We have used them for a month now and they have held up perfectly. No chips ect. We even use them for the grandchildren with no problems. It is such a wonderful deal. I hope you trust me when i say just buy it!!

All of the dishes came in excellent condition and the photo on the website accurately represented the actual appearance. The dishes are durable and elegant. I am very pleased with this purchase and have recommended it to many friends. It's an excellent value for the price.

This 8 place settings plus serving pieces is a terrific value. I like the contemporary look and the fact that all pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe.

It's an inexpensive way to set a table. Unfortunately it doesn't come with any soup bowls and I wasn't able to find any that match well. It's not bad for the price.

Got this dinnerware to use for my Christmas dinner and got great comments by my family and friends. The product arrived promplty . Some minor imperfections are hardly noticeable. Already used it a couple of times and it stood the dishwasher with no problems. Its a great value for the price. Highly recommended!!

This was a flawless purchase. The product was delivered as promised in a timely fashion. There were no broken items. The dinnerware is perfect for everyday use. It is sturdy and holds up well to dishwasher use. It is not too fancy but can be used in a fairly formal setting. This was an excellent purchase. I would reccomend this product to anyone.

I really like this set of dinner ware I bought it for everyday use and it is perfect for that purpose. The color is white with a off white/silver design on the rim which I think adds a real nice touch to the design. The dish's are well made no obvious imperfections to complain about. The only problem with the set is it has no bowls in the set. It does come with a nice creamer and sugar bowl and a large serving bowl. It was delivered perfectly packed and all dish's arrived without any breakage. Overall it is a very decent set of dish's and I would recommend without hesitation.

Great everyday set. Crafted strong but dainty with an exceelent edge design. Dishwasher and microwaiveable safe. The picture on the site does not do this set justice, it is so much nicer. The only thing missing is the soup bowls.
