I purchased this in August of 2008 and waited to actually have some history with the item before passing judgement. My first impression was that (as advertised) the blanket was soft and snuggly, and the wires were more flexible compared to the many other electric blankets I've owned . While the wires become more visible as the blanket surface compresses (from sitting or laying on on top of it, I really can't feel their presence. I have since machine washed and finish dried ( partially air-dried in nice weather on my lawn, then machine dried on low for 15 to 20 minutes)at least three times, and it looks and functions like new. No pilling. No shrinkage. Warms beautifully. Good range of temperature. Up-right controls are easy to see use and find in sleepy confusion.

I had been looking for an electric blanket for the last month and ordered this because of the price. I love this blanket. Even if I had to pay the full price it would be well worth it. Like the dual controls and it seems to warm up reasonably fast. Hopefully it will last through the year of wear and tear.

This blanket is awesome. The fabric is super soft and doesn't pill and you can't easily feel the wires in the blanket. The subtle increases in temperature make it so I can easily find the perfect temperature. No more settling for too warm or too cool. The digital readout is really easy to see in the dark and all of the cords tuck neatly under my bed (when I use the outlet behind the head of my bed). I couldn't recommend this blanket more.

Electric blankets are expensive but this one at Overstock was the best price & after getting it home it is an excellant product. The computer ordering however was a nightmare! I had to have a person at Overstock finish the orer because the computer wouldn't take the order??!!

The blanket doesnt heat evenly i.e. it gets hot in the center but the periphery does not heat up which causes my wife and I to compete for the center of the bed or to raise the temperature to heights that cause sweating/discomfort. The blanket also sheds leaving fibers in my beard every morning. I am going to look into returning it as soon as I figure out how to do so!

Outstanding--simply the best electric blanket I have ever bought! It actually heats up to really warm you, and has several levels of heat so you can find the warmth that suits you. The blanket and wires are soft and supple. The blanket automatically shuts off after ten hours, which is good if you forget to turn it off and not so good if you want to sleep in for longer than ten hours. Overall, an excellent product!

My husband and I are very happy with the electric blanket. I have searched in stores and other online sites for a dual controlled blanket. This blanket was by far the least expensive with the lowest shipping charges. It arrived with in a few days and works perfectly. Bonus - machine washable.

I purchased this blanket because it offered the dual controls. I am always cold and my husband is always hot. With this blanket we can both be happy. The quality is great. We are both very pleased. I am thinking about ordering one for both of my sons bedrooms also. With winter approaching, we'll be able to keep the heat down at night and still be comfortable.
