Royal Tahiti Folding Bar Chair with Arms and Footrest

We bought four chairs and within two weeks two of them have come apart (seat slats pull out). I'm not sure if its from the heat of the outside but this are outdoor chairs. It doesn't look like it was glued properly. The chair by design puts a lot of pressure on the rear of the seat and the just pulled apart. We haven't used them more than 10 times and half of them are broken. I'm going to try to glue and clamp them but I really should have to with a new piece of furniture, should I?

Bought two for a small balcony with a great view so I can enjoy the outdoors and spectacular scenery. The chairs are comfortable even without cushions! Only negative is that, although they are "fold-up" chairs, they do not fold up easily and could potentially be finger pinchers if you aren't careful. Storage when folded up may be a problem if you don't have adequate space. Otherwise, nice wood, sturdy clever design and warm color.

It looks nice but.... this chair is heavy, cumbersome and not particularly comfortable. I wanted a nice bar heighth chair that I could easily store away. Folding this thing up and storing it away isn't that simple as the weight leads it to flop open. The seat is narrow and very upright. For a price less than this thing I got two directors chairs and put this way back in storage.

This outdoor chair is going to be an indoor chair with the table that goes with it, as a dressing table, that is makeup table and chair in a bedroom. It is very comfortable and attractive. Most of all for this use, it looks to me much more modern than a dressing table. Most cool.
