    I gave my wife roses and gold flatware for Christmas and she wont let me eat with it. She loves this flatware so much, she put it in her display cabinet. I had to buy a set with a simpler design so I can get some dinner. I would still recommend this flatware, it is excellent quality and would be great for formal dining If you can find the key to her cabinet.

    I was at first disappointed when I opened the package. The flatware does not come in a box. The appearance was a little garish, which is what I feared from looking at the close up details on the website. However, and I think another customer made a similar comment, when the flatware is placed in context on the table, it looks more muted and is very nice. The pieces feel a little light but it is not a problem. Overall, it is a nice dressy set for the price.
