Very misleading. This is not a free standing couch as it would make you believe. It is nothing more than a futon mattress...and not a full size futon mattress at that. The box it arrives in says FUTON MATTRESS. It has to be supported against the wall. I then decided to use it on my futon couch but it is too small for a futon. Very disappointing!
When I received the chair and finally got the "snuggly fitted" cover over the mattress it looked great up against the wall. It was comfortable to sit on and my dogs loved it! Over time the seams began to fall apart on each square of the furniture pattern. Also, NEVER wash the cover as the batting bunches up inside only to never be able to get smoothed out again. The warranty people that I got referred to never returned my calls only until overstock called them for me and I finally got the new cover after a month. Overstock has been very helpful and hasbeen great to work with on these matters.
I am a little disappointed with this so called floor "chair." Pay close attention to the picture, it is shown against a wall. That is because the back has to be propped up in order for it to be used as a chair. The box that it came in says it is an easy fold futon mattress. I thought I was getting a chair that would "stand" on it's own. Now I'll have to keep it against a wall or find a futon frame for it. Also, the way that it was packed was crazy, they must have vacuum packed it in order to get it in the box that it came in. It was rolled to fit in the box and there is no way if you wanted to return it that you could get it back in the box.
