Round Mahogany Bronze Wood Chandelier

It looks as good as the pictures, and we looked at many before choosing this beauty! It came packaged really well. It hangs nicely, but you will need an electrician to install.

This is a fixture that looks much better when left off. When illuminated, it makes the long "metal" posts appear shiny and very, very reddish. I would not call this fixture bronze- - cordovan would have been a better description. The circle that supports the actual lights is a great dark brown/bronze. It's just a shame they didn't continue that finish on those poles. The lights themselves are a very true, bright white. We have 60w in them and the light is on a dimmer. It puts out A LOT of light on high. Quite happy with the light output, just wish the poles didn't have such a reddish and shiny finish. All that said, no one has noticed any of this, but me. All friends think it's from a recognizable store/catalog company and much more expensive then what we paid. Overall, I'm pleased and a quick coat of spray paint before hanging would make it a 5 star piece.

Being said, I knew I planned on painting it when received. I painted my lighting black for a $5.00 can of spray and I LOVE IT. It was the exact style I had been looking for with the modern white opaque cylinder glass. Everyone loves it and no one ever knew I painted it. Received quick and well packed, small chip on glass not noticeable and hangs even.
