I have a chrome, minimalist entry way table with a lot of space under it. I was looking for something to put under it. My original thought was tall vases, but I couldn't find any I liked or that were reasonable in price. When I found these, I thought it was the perfect solution. I bought three and have them under the table, and it creates interest and is practical. These are not really ottomans. They're more like temporary seating, and they are about the size of a small hand drum you might see someone playing at a festival. They are more expensive than they are worth given they seem to be hard plastic with a glossy black finish that won't take much of a beating before chipping. The quality is also a bit sloppy, as seams clearly show under the paint. But, if you use them mostly for display and under a table, I doubt people will really notice. There is also some room for storage inside, though I'm not sure what you could really put in that tiny space.
