I don't get it. I read a good review about this product, so I got one. I tried it, and it's no better than a fan. This product didn't cool my room at all.

I bought this for a disabled aunt in Tulsa, Oklahoma where they have very hot, dry summers. She had been using window a/c but the electricity was very expensive. Recalling movie houses in Texas being cooled by fans blowing across blocks of ice in the 1920's, I decided this might actually work. Well . . . it has been a life saver for my aunt. She called to say, "It is 110 degrees in Tulsa today, but I'm cool and happy in my bedroom with my amazing air cooler! What a relief not to have to choose between paying my bills and feeling well...Thank you all so much..." I would recommend this to anyone wanting to help the environment and also save money while staying cool.
