Rosewood Dark Oak Rocking Accent Chair

This is a fantastic rocker. It is well-made, the craftsmanship is apparent and wow it was REALLY well-packed. In addition to all of the cushioning inside the box, the box itself was also wrapped in bubble and plastic wrap. I've never seen such heavy-duty bubble wrap (incidentally, it made some excellent popping noises). In fact, unwrapping the box from the plastic and bubble wrap took me at least an hour if not more (which is longer than it takes to assemble the rocker). We couldn't find any instructions; we even looked online and didn't see any. But having put together many pieces of furniture, we figured it out and didn't have any extra parts either. If you aren't sure whether you'd like the rocker, but would rather have a chair, you could just not put the rocking rails on and have a lovely mission-style chair. It would cut down a little bit of the floor space it needs since the rails are pretty darn long. It is by no means a small piece of furniture, but it isn't quite as large as some imply. I purchased it for our future baby room—I thought it would be a great piece to sit in and rock with a baby or curl up in with a child and read a book. I believe it is well-suited for both, and thus not too big. Plus it's really lovely to sit in, cross-legged, and read a book. I'd say it is fairly deep. I'm about 5'7" and my feet didn't touch the floor much when I wasn't rocking. Plus the seat sits pretty high. I thought I would sink in to it when I sat down, but no. The bottom cushion keeps its shape and is comfortable. I'm not a huge fan of the fabric for the back cushion, so I used a Euro pillow case I have and covered it. It's a good fit on the cushion and looks really nice with the bottom cushion. In short, if you love the style of the rocker, you'll find a way to make it work in your room. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

My boyfriend and I have been looking for a comfortable chair for our new home. He wanted to get me a "game chair" for Valentine"s Day (when I'm playing my video games on my PS3), but that flew out the window when I saw this rocking chair!! I had one before when I lived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and it was my favorite piece of furniture in my whole house!! He ordered this rocking chair and I'm just in love with it. The picture doesn't do this chair any justice!! Love, love, love my early Valentine's present <3

The size and the quality is perfect. Very comfortable to sit on and it rocks you to sleep haha. I'm glad I bought and didn't pay much for and the delivery was quick and didn't even pay for expedited shipping.

I hubby go it for me because he said it would nice for me since I'm pregnant oh how he's so right. I fall asleep on this comfortable chair almost all my naps and I love it. The cushions are just on the right place for all my support and I love how smoothly it rocks. My husband just want me to add that it was easy for him to set up and the delivery only took 3 1/2 days to be exact. Haha he wanted me to mention that since Overstock did great on that part also. Overall we love especially me and the baby, it rocks us to sleep.
