I bought this because I needed something not bulky for my small bedroom. I absolutely love the bed. Much better than what is pictured and assembly was so easy. I wish I would have found this sooner.

I am very satisfied with this bed except for one thing. I wish the headboard was at least ten inches higher. I have a thick mattress and a lot of the headboard's scroll work design is lost because the high mattress hides it. For someone who has a less thick mattress, though, the headboard would be just right. This bed sits fairly low to the floor. Because of this, most storage boxes and other ittems won't slide beneath it. This might be important for someone to know if they are accustomed to storing "things" under their bed. The bed's color is brown with a copperish glow. I'm very pleased with the bed's sturdiness. It doesn't wobble as some metal beds do!

This is a really nice bed. Perfect for my bedroom. At one point, I thought of replacing my mattress, but it wasn't until I assembled the bed with FIVE SLATS across that it uplifted my mattress. My old bed had only one slat in the middle, the mattress eventually started to lose shape, but when I replaced the bed frame, it was the bed frame that was no good. My mattress was like new all over again. Very happy with this bed, and it's strong and has enough space at the foot so you can put the end of your comforter, blanket and a bedspread when making up the bed. It's neat.

I bought this bed because I have never had a bed with a headboard and footboard before and it is so beautiful and reasonably priced too! I put it together all by myself as I am single and did not have the patience to wait for someone to help me. I did it in an hour and a half and the directions were good. Not too hard :) Of course, if you have someone to help you, it will go faster but good to know it can be done alone if needed. It is very sturdy and beautiful. I love the detail of the curved bars.

I absolutely love this bed. I bought one for my daughter this summer and I am very impressed. So much so that I am ordering one for my older daughter too!!! This bed is very easy to assemble, very pretty, and very sturdy. I love this bed!!!!!!!!!

I've had this bed for four years now (neglected to write a review), and I'm glad to say it is still standing and looks as good as it did the day it arrived. I assembled it myself and don't remember it being a particularly difficult. The only thing I would say is that if you have a box spring and mattress, you don't see as much as the headboard as is shown in the picture. The mattress is a few inches below the foot board, and you can see about a foot of the head board. This is not something that bothers me, but I thought people should know. The bed also came with risers, which I am using and it's nice to have the option. Plenty of storage space below!

Bed was easy to assemble. If you want more of the frame to show, you can use only a matress; the frame is so great. The frame has support at the bottom that will support any weight and sturdy. Does not require a lot of space; the room the bed is in is 11 x 13. Very pleased.

Great Value. Easy to put together. Just what we were looking for at a good price.

All parts were in the box, the directions were clear and even though I put this together myself as a small woman, it was fine. I got a Tempurpedic-like mattress for the new bed and I am heaven with the comfort and the looks. One of the best products I've purchased from Overstock.com, and I've been a member for many years. Amazing value in light of the quality and the construction!

This is a beautiful bed, nice bronze color matched our ceiling fan, very well made, sturdy, was easy to assemble, arrived very quickly! Love it! I researched many places and the price was unbelievably low.

I bought this bed for my apartment bedroom -- so, not overly large. I was concerned that it might overwhelm the space, but it fits in beautifully and enhances the room so wonderfully. Any number of friends "warned" me against making a furniture purchase online, but I figured that, even if it weren't exactly as it looked or of the quality that I'm used to, I'd still be ahead of the game.... And this bed far surpassed my expectations. As an "extra-curvy" person, I can say that this is one solid bed; once my niece and I put the bed together, we both literally bounced on it to see how it would hold up -- and it didn't budge. I've been sleeping on it for about three weeks now, and I love it more everyday. This was my first furniture purchase with Overstock and, based on my absolute satisfaction with it, it won't be my last!

I love this bed. It was light, and easy to put together!! I'm very excited to sleep on it tonight. It's gorgeous and for the price - you can't beat that!!

I got my bed in two boxes.....the screws/tools are split between the boxes, which I didn't like because I thought something was missing. But I put the bed together alone and it was super easy. You wouldn't think something that is so easy to put together would be so sturdy, but this bed is amazing. I had concerns about weight as my boyfriend and I are both larger....this bed holds up for sure! It is beautiful, sturdy and a great value for the price. I could not have asked for better.

We've had this bed about 4 months and I couldn't be happier! It took my husband and I less than an hour to put it together. It is very sturdy,it does not squeak or move at all. It fits our queen- size mattress and box spring very well. Yes there is a space between footboard and mattress, but it's not a big deal it leaves room for heavy comforters. Yes the headboard is just a bit higher than the footboard but it is higher they are not the same size. Yes it is not very high off the floor but it is high enough to put one of those shoe storage containers under it-- get risers if you want it higher. You will not regret this purchase at all.

We ordered this bed set to replace our current one. Items arrived in two manageable size boxes. Both were well packaged with no missing or damaged parts. Assembly of the bed was easy and clearly detailed. The bed set provides great support for our mattresses and is more comfortable than our previous frame. The bed looks wonderful in our bedroom and we have had several compliments on it already.
