I bought this bed as a starter bed for my boyfriend and I. It is very sturdy and seems like it should last us a very long time! Overstock was great as we purchased the wrong size at first. But the "O" sent us the correct size and fully refunded our money as soon as they received the wrong one back! Lovvveee them!

It's a beautiful bed & very simple to put together. I did it myself in an hour. My husband agrees it looks really nice & opens up the room a lot. I'm very happy with this purchase & would recommend it.

I bought this bed over a year ago, the price was right, so it was a good investment for me, in my new bedroom. It's held up very well, I love it and would recommend it, it's a good deal for the money. I'm very happy with it.

I had to return this bed, it wasn't was I expected. frame is very low, almost on the floor. Quality of the metal and color were good.

It arrived quickly, in two boxes - one held the frame and one held the foot/headboard. The bed goes pretty low to the ground so if you're super tall, you might not like that. It does, however, look very nice and I know I wouldn't have found a better deal anywhere else. It took about 2 hours for my brother to put the whole thing together. It does take up quite a bit of space but it looks beautiful. Like others said, there is quite a gap at the end of the bed to the frame. I find that quite nice though because then it's easier to tuck my sheets in. It looks basically black but if you're up close to it, you can see it's not - just like the picture. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone. It's very chic looking and affordable.

I love my new bed. The design is what caught my eye. I had it put up right away.

It's a pretty bed frame but from the pictures I thought it would be higher over the bed. I find the legs to long for my taste. I am 5'8" and I have to work to get in it. Overall nice but I would not purchase this one again because of the height issues. Looking back at the picture I realize theta show it without a boxing! Sneaky overstock, very sneaky.

I'm in love with this bed. It's added so much character to my room. Unlike similar beds I've had in the past, the color (paint or whatever material it is) doesn't mark the walls upon contact and didn't peel off when I was putting the bed together. Though it wasn't difficult to put together, it was a little time-consuming. The frame has proven to be sturdy and reliable. I highly recommend this product!

I purchased this bed for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas this year. The bed arrived SUPER fast (less than a week from order). It arrived in two very large, rather heavy, cardboard boxes via UPS. I'm a single mom, so my 14-yr old son and I carried the boxes upstairs and got to work assembling it. It came with an Allen wrench and all the parts you need to set it up. I do recommend that you have a pair of pliers or a wrench available so that you can be sure to get all the bolts sufficiently tightened. It took us about 45 minutes working together to fully assemble it. Not difficult at all and instructions were clear and easy to understand. The bed is beautiful and really pulls my daughter's room together. It is a very very very dark brown color. It really looks black on first glance, but if you look closely in the light, you can see it has a hint of brown in it. My daughter is pleased because it looks black to her and that's good enough for me. It is sturdy and doesn't creak or anything. You WILL need a box spring to go with your mattress. There are three metal slats that span from side to side between the rails for support, but would not be sufficient to support a mattress alone without the box springs. I highly recommend this bed for a child's room, guest room, or everyday bed for an adult.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I found it very hard to find a double bed in the stores and the ones I found in the chain bedding stores were so flimsy and pricey. This bed is by far better quality and much better looking than anything I have found and I have been looking for about 4 years before I finally took the plunge and odered from Overstock. Beautiful finish on the metal, nice and sturdy and looks beautiful with my antique furniture. Love it!
