I bought two of these chairs and I was pleasantly surprised at the richness of color and texture. The chair is a nice substantial size, not too small and not too large. The best feature of this chair is the texture of the fabric with raised slightly nubby small blocks on a smoother background. It looks and feels like textured silk. The color is a rich true gold. Not too yellow or too brown. Great price for a lovely chair.

The seat area is much larger than I thought. Took my husband 20 minutes to put together. It was very well wrapped, double boxed. Looks classic.

The chair was very nice. The wood was much darker in color than I expected. Also, the "scaled" fabric pattern was more prominent than I expected. It would be a great chair for the right room.
