Hello schmarm8, This shade folds gently in classic Roman shade style. It does not come with the hardware for the top down/bottom up. It may be something that you could do, however understand that it is not what this shade has been to designed to do. Thank you for your interest. For the most part, bamboo shades provide some privacy but not the ultimate. Many people find creative ways to line them. There are no green tones in the blind; any color variation is due to lighting and monitor differences. Is this shade available in any other sizes? I only saw what looked like one other size of 52 x 64 that is called Java Roman shade in natural. Is this the same product and is there other sizes? heidiella on Jan 15, 2013

In the description under blackout there is a yes. In addition, in the description "Radians features provides privacy and energy-efficient insulation qualities". How does the shade blackout light or give privacy if it isn't lined? mae1981 on Jan 6, 2013
