I bought this flatware set a few months ago and I'm very happy with it. The pattern is perfect for everyday use as well as dinner parties. I have never seen rust or any scatches from the dishwasher. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this flatware.

What the descrip does not tell u is that the finish on the handles is not a shiny mirror finish but looks more like a brushed finish. I thought I was getting a shiny set, and hate the brushed metal look.

I've found this flatware set to be handsome and a great value. They're an update to thrift store set that I always thought were functional but lacking in style. This set is good looking and sturdy - easily twice the thickness of my old set. Although they're 18/0 (not 18/8 or 18/10), the manufacturer provides a 20 year warranty which I take a solid vote of confidence in their quality. Definitely recommended.

My very first time ordering and it was a very Nice Product. I bought this for my first house I really like the price for what you get. I only saw a couple of scatches but other than that it was a very nice product, I would recommend to others. I will order again.

Overall, great value. One set was, however, short three teaspoons. Also, a couple of the items had some scratches on them. These scratches could not be polished off.

The flatware was heavier than I had expected, but if it is not used consistently SOME pieces will tend to look grayish. I do not put in the dishwasher and you can shine the discolored pieces.

I have used Rogers stainless steel for over 25 years, and it is still going. The weight of the silverware does not feel flimsy or cheap, and even after over 25 years, excluding a few pieces that hit tje garbage disposal, the pieces are not scratched. The only reason I am looking is to replace those that went in the disposal or got lost over years of moving around the world

The site description did not indicate the nickel content, it only indicated the chromium content (18). But several reviewers said it was 18/8 stainless, which would mean 8% nickel. I ordered this as a gift and specifically chose it because reviewers said it was 18/8 even though the description was silent. When it was opened, it clearly said on the box 18/0. Since it was a gift, I won't return it, but am kicking myself for ordering flatware where there was a question of whether it was 18/0 or 18/8. Moral of the story - - if the price looks too good to be true, it is, even on Overstock.

This stainless is a great value. Nice weight/balance. Does great in dishwasher. hope it gets back in stock soon ordering another set for self and sets for daughters.

I purchased 2 sets of these for a christmas gift. They arrived today. I am a little disappointed with the overall weight of them but they look very nice. They were a very good price for being 18/8. I myself have a set of 18/0 and I could tell absolutely no difference on a side by side comparison of the weight. They do look very good and all of the pieces were there.

I have been looking for something close to this particular pattern. The price was two to three times this cost for less sturdy flatware. Thank you!

Flatware is exactly how it was described. I found other similar sets but not at Overstock's price.

I bought 2 sets for a vacation home, to replace the mismatched, mangled 'set' which was there. These are ok. The boxes were a bit beat up and a couple of the 'box display' untensils were scratched but no big deal. Haven't noticed an issue with the dishwasher. If you want a really fine set, this isn't it. But for better than the cafeteria bent stuff, this works.

While the set itself is pretty in a not-overly-decorated way, they have a nice heft to them making them relatively durable and I paid a decent price for them, the "dishwasher safe" rating is apparently erroneous. I have had these for only a short time and already they've begun to somehow discolour in the dishwasher. I said I wouldn't recommend them to a friend, but for the money I spent I kind of expected something to be slightly off with them. I would tell friends about them because of the low price and perceived durability, but I would warn them against using dishwashers for them.

Another great buy Big O! Bought these for adult son moving out. He thinks they're masculine enough, & is glad I didn't save a couple bucks to get bendable utensils. They were much nicer than I expected for the money.
