DO NOT BUY!!!!! These knifes rusted. I used it twice and it started to rust!!!!!

Ihave never been so upset over anything I have bought from Overstock. These knives rusted and would not retain their sharpness. They were not put in a dishwasher, washed by hand.

The knives look nice but they are dull, and they Rust very easily! I left the knives in the sink after rinsing them. the next day they were full of rust. Very hard to get off. After putting them in the dishwasher, same thing. Not practical.

These knives are all one piece; stainless steel. They are easy to wash and come in a wooden block in black that well compliments the silver. For they're price I couldn't complain a bit. They are not perfect though. The handles are completely enclosed, with no seems, so nothing can get in them and grow nasty organisms. But the handles are hollow, so they're kinda light. "Stainless" isn't entirely accurate either. Like many items made out of cheap stainless, they must be dried immediately or will show rust spots within a day (i.e. don't leave them in the dishwasher) The scissors have much to be desired as a kitchen set. They're ok as scissors, but are fairly generic. Over all, I like this set a lot. Goes perfect with my kitchen decor.

the knives are good looking although after having them for a few weeks, the bread knife has tiny holes in the handels, and is letting in the water when i wash it and the utility knife has started to rust. the knives come with a twenty five year warranty but as i am living in england i fear that the free postage will not apply to me to send the knives back. what a shame as they are great looking knives.

The set is very, very good. Except for the point on the handles of the shears they are very well made and very sharp. Good value.

I love this set! The black wood block and stainless set look very sleek and modern in my kitchen. I was not disappointed. Good quality for the price!

I couldn't afford an expensive set of knives, so I opted for this set. I've had them for 4 years now. They were never "sharp". I have to saw tomatoes and hack through meats. Scissors fell apart quickly. Two larger knives I use often (daily) and have to sharpen daily in order for them to be slightly effective. Love the block holder. Fits perfect on counter and nice to look at. Metal has pitted - that happened quickly after I purchased them. I wash them by hand and don't let them sit in water, yet they all have grooves and pits all over. I wouldn't purchase again. Spend the extra money and get a good set.

I was not happy at all with this knife set. The quality was poor and the knives rusted fairly quickly. I guess you get what you pay for.

i recieved the product right on time and shipped to me , no damage used the set that very nite and contiue every day they fit to my hand like a glove and cut ev erything from mushrooms to butternut squash would i recommend this set to others ? ABSOULETLY .use evryday and are holding up Very well oh price was right too!

I love the look of these knives and work with steak knives at the restaurant I manage so I was very excited to see them! Unfortunately you have to watch for rust. I am only hand washing them now and drying them immediately.

Very satisfied with quality and appearance. Also very satisfied with the prompt service and reasonable shipping.

The black one the block was chipping off and it was not even put together right. The knifes themselves look decent but since i was giving this as a gift i would have prefered as nicer looking block.

These knives look good on my granite countertop, however, most of them are quite dull. The steak knives are sharp and handle nice but the rest is very dull. I have to buy a knife sharpener to see if it helps.

These knives are exactly what I was looking for. The handles are hollow which result in utilitarian ightweight knives. The wood block is black without a logo. Highly recommeded for the price.

Its a striking set of knifes. I really haven't used it much but the paring knife and serrated knife for bread. Not much of a cook, but always wanted a set of good knives. Should last a very long time. Was delivered with a deep cut in the knife holder. Was surprising easy to return. They email me a return label. Justed used the box it come in and dropped it off at a USP store. Overstock shipped a replacement out the next day. They must have shipped it once they received the scan from the UPS store that it was on its way back. Loving Overstock. Have purchased a few items now from them. Can't beat $0.00 shipping on some of items.

These are very nice knifes, they are sleek and very comfortable. The handles are hollow which lets the handles be bid and fit in your hand nicely... 5 Stars I recommend this product!

These are very nice looking knives. However they don't cut very well...which is I consider a major problem since that is their purpose. One of the very FEW disappoints I've had with overstock.

The knives are great for my needs. My 15 year old can handle them well. The block is nice and sturdy,and the sharpening steel has renewed my older knives. This set is nice for the home chef,and for beginners

I think this product is adquate, but not of exceptional value
