Award winning artist, Roderick E. Stevens was handed his first set of oils at the age of seven and his love for painting was promptly born. Initially his works followed a more abstract expression. In high school, he began exploring realism, and simultaneously discovered acrylics which seemed to better accommodate his nature at the time. Since then he has worked primarily in acrylics on Masonite and canvas. Roderick has been honored to receive several awards, and been invited to show at the highly prestigious 'Coda Gallery' in Palm Desert, California. He was recently commissioned to paint one of the marble horse sculptures for the 'Trail of the Painted Ponies' project. Meanwhile, his work can be found in several galleries, shops and displays in Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Tucson, Scottsdale, Carefree, Prescott, Sierra Vista, and at the '55 Main Gallery' in Bisbee.

This print is so beautiful. It is hand numbered and signed, a beautiful combination of color and lines and I can't wait to get it on my wall. I purchased it unframed (now I wish I had purchased with frame). I have been waiting for my local craft store to tell me the framing is done, and it has already been two weeks. Save yourself time and money and purchase it framed if you plan on doing so. But the print is definitely worth the priice and I LOVE it!!!!!

The canvas has good quality and arrived in great shape. The image doesn't look as attractive in real life as posted though.
I bought this for my teenage son for his birthday I liked the idea of giving him a "guitar store". his print is an awkward size so don't be fooled into thinking you can go out and buy a 14x14 canvas.It should be mounted not framed as the print looks very much like an oil painting. It is beautiful but price out framing b/4 deciding on the mounted or unmounted print.
The item is so beautiful - oil in canvas. It was delivered in my office and even my boss admired it so much. The recipient, my son, loved it since he himself has a collection of guitars. He will have it framed and hang it in his new house. I hope to find something similar to this - and purchase it too!!
