I purchased this pan to make a deep Lasagna. It is a good size. I like that the lasagna can not boil over. The handles are really nice to have when taking out of the oven and carrying. The only negative would be that the plastic lid does not fit tightly. The metal spatula is good also. Haven't used the rack yet. It came pretty fast and in good condition. I saved 10% on line and shipping is always low. Glad I bought it!
Withiin two weeks this pan discolored and was not the quallity I expected of a roasting pan which is supposed to be stainless steel. Because of the discoloration, I am afraid to use it.
i've used it 3 times so far and it's what i expected for the price. big and roomy, didn't rust in the dishwasher and was a little lightweight but heavier ones are way way out of my price range, so i'm happy
I saw this roasting pan online and figured I'd give it a whirl... I am glad I did ! I roasted a large chicken ( could have done two and will from now on!) with a large batch of red potatoes alongside ... Came out wonderful! I love that there is a plastic lid and a very adequate flat stainless spatula ..as I write this, I am roasting a large amount of vegetables to have on hand- eggplant, red peppers, red onions as well as a few heads of garlic for good measure.. So far, so great! Easy to clean, love the included rack as well! Buy and try, you will agree.. Great pan, fantastic price!
I was looking for a heavy duty well made built to last roaster with high a domed lid. I didn't get that in the roaster. It good for someone just starting out. I'm sure I will have to buy another on soon. I'm looking around. This roaster is very light and thin the rack that comes in it is worthless. The handle on the top seems to me it won't hold up very long before coming off. Deep enough to hold a small turkey or two hole chickens. But I will use it to make hot tamales or cornbread dressing. Its not worth me sending it back nor the trouble that comes along with doing so. Just not worth buying save your money.
