I purchased this item elsewhere and have used it quite a bit. Thus far I've sealed over 40lbs of smoked cheese, 22lb's of homemade bacon and numerous other items. It's an excellent choice for a basic vacuum sealer and performs very well. Simple to use and I would absolutely by another. I also have a 120$+ sealer but I only use it when I have no other choice (something that requires a snorkel sealer for instance). Great for making boil-in bag meals. I've even grilled out steaks, sealed and froze some and then boiled them in the bag to heat the back up - turned out fantastic!Read More
I have used it for sealing up my cheese and meat in the fridge. I also used it to marinade my pork chops and they turned out to be the best pork chops ever. This exact same model sells for twice the price at Walmart locally. Bags are less expensive for the seal-a-meal brand then the foodsaver brand but this unit will work for bothRead More
