Does not stand up to even a slight wind - does not hold umbrella - I wish I had not spent the money on this product and would not recommend it to anyone.

The stands are arrive in 2 pieces. the neck screws into the base leaving a bolt on the bottom so the base has little legs under the big platform making it very unstable. So unless your putting it through a table forget it.!!!!! Even then I would buy a differnt product. Poor quality, bad design.

Not only did they not hold the umbrellas well, they were not sturdy and the feet fell off; and they wouldn't send me replacements.

We put the umbrella base up as soon as it was delivered. It looks great with our patio set, matching the color and design perfectly. We've only had it a couple of weeks so I'm not sure of the durabilty, although it appears to be soundly constructed. With only 1 screw to hold the umbrella in place, I was a little skeptical of how well it would hold our umbrella. However, we have had a few windy days and our 10' umbrella stayed in place (folded down). I like the flat base because it doesn't get in the way when guests are seated at the table. I would buy this again based on the few weeks I've had it.

I chose this base for it's simple, low-profile design, as well as for weight and performance. It is functional and not very decorative, exactly what I wanted. I am very happy with the way it looks on the patio, its unobtrusive and is and nicely holds the umbrella. I hope it lasts a long time.

The stand looks nice. So far, I've had no problems with it other than the fact that it won't hold a 1.5" diameter pole. I had to change where I used it because of this but it worked out as I needed a freestanding base anyway and used this one under my table. I like the sleek look. Very nice.

This is the weight and style of umbrella base I wanted, but after two weeks outside, it's rusting! I would return it, except it's too heavy.

Needed something 1950s retro. This product works-- never could understand why umbrella stands had to draw attention to themselves. The powder coating is well applied and the stand does what it is supposed to do. I'm pleased.
